ALROSA sells $2.3 bln worth of diamonds in January–May
MOSCOW, Jun 8 (PRIME) -- Russian diamond mining giant ALROSA sold diamonds worth U.S. $2.299 billion in January–May, up from $2.134 billion worth of diamonds sold in the same period of 2017, the company said in a statement on Friday.
ALROSA sold $2.256 worth of rough diamonds and $43.3 million worth of polished diamonds in the period.
In May, the company sold diamonds worth $288 million, including $277.5 million of rough diamonds and $10.5 million of polished diamonds.
